Root How to install Aquarius 1.1

Hello everybody a big greeting to all this community.

If someone knows about Aquarius 1.1 please help me to get it and install it. I am using now Cyanogen mod 6 and has too many bugs and even is very fast I am going to wait a little more for the fixes.

Welcome to the forum. Never heard of aquarius. There is a rom called icarus 1.1 There are detailed instructions in the "all things root" section.

Aquarius 1.1 is a rip-off of Icarus. Using Icarus is the exact same thing.
 
I don't know all of the rules and such with Open Source, but still, that is stealing credit for someone elses work. The least they could do is modify it, mention what was changed, and give credit to where it originally came from.
 
Thats really not cool. The developer of Icarus should try to have something done about it. Its so wrong to steal his work. But I guess people don't buy copyrights for roms though.

though he may be a demi god to the lowly non-techy user (and a god to all thing ascend pimpin') on top of a really nice dude, the law actually works against him on this one. its open source, if you change the logo or touch the code in any way it is now your creation. stupid if you ask me.

it's like pirating music or playing covers of the grateful dead. they have always agreed to release their music and likeness as public domain (open source). this is why you can go to a dead concert with a sound recorder and camera holding a giant sign that says "bootlegging" while wearing a pirate costume and no one will stop you. you can release a cover of "friend of the devil" and claim the kid sure looks like you and sell it too. but if you go to say any rap show or nickleback or something with any audio or video recording device you can be fined or jailed.
 
True, legally, theres no laws being broken, it's open source, theres no copyright, theres no money been made, but there still should be some sort of honor code. Just like you don't date your best friends ex. Everyone should boycott and ridicule whoever is claiming to have "created" this aquarius nonsense.

I wouldn't go as far as searching out the "developer" to ridicule them but I won't recomend using this "aquarius" rom because you never know what else was changed.
If they cant tell you they ripped off the rom how can you trust them?

Same with pirating apps. If you get malware trying to get apps for free thats your own damn fault. Dont post a bad review because youre a theif.
