*****..:How to Install ***ClockWorkMod (CWM) 6*** on the Huawei Fusion 2:..*****
_________________________________________________________

Step 1: Download the CWM Recovery Tools File from here! Huawei Fusion 2 CWM Installation Tools

Step 2: Put your Huawei Fusion 2 into fastboot mode. (remember from the walkthrough?)
(Step 2 Continued.. Turn off the phone, once off hold down volume down and the power button simultaneously for 20 SECONDS, you will then see the phone freeze at the AT&T logo.. GOOD this is fastboot!)

Step 3: Open up the CWM Recovery Tools File, and run the "instalador.bat" now plug in your phone, and wait for your computer to recognize it.

Step 4: Once the computer has recognized the phone in fastboot, and you have instalador.bat running, hit the spacebar. It should say something about sending the recovery image (in spanish sorry) if you get stuck on waiting device the computer hasn't recognized the phone. Unplug and replug, now instalador should run. If not the phone isn't in fastboot, so unplug the phone, and take out the battery and go back to step 2 to get into fastboot!

Step 5: Wait for the phone to reboot... Once it does turn it off! (we want to check that CWM is installed..)

Step 6: Now that the phone is off simply hold down the volume UP (not down as in fastboot procedure) while pressing the power button simultaneously, DO NOT STOP HOLDING POWER AND VOLUME UP UNTIL YOUR DEVICE ENTERS RECOVERY MODE!!! (you will know your in recovery mode because you will see a nice fancy top hat with some gears in the middle.. if you successfully installed CWM... if not you will see an android guy and some options like reboot phone, wipe data.. similar options are found in CWM but with much more possibilities of customization unlike the stock recovery... YAY! CWM!

(IT'S NOT HARD, DON'T BE SHY) ;)

If you have Android ADB and fastboot, you can always just use fastboot to flash the recovery.img over to the phone.

Nothing in CWM works right now, so it's basically useless.

This is a plug and play method. Just like my root guide its designed to be easier for a less experienced user. Not everyone (especially the type of people getting an entry level android go phone) are familiar with ADB.

Hey guys,
I was able to install the CWM recovery of Y201 from the below forum on the Fusion 2 using the fastboot flashing recovery steps for Fusion2. ":/fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" with the Y201 recovery file saved in the same folder.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=35908322
even tho the Y201 recovery is little slower on the Fusion2, I was able to backup the rom, install new custom roms of Y200 and restore the original carrier rom.

The y200 roms I installed and successfully booted into fusion 2were:
1) CleanBaseRom#5.zip (same as carrier rom with out most of att junk)
2)ICS_OS_20130203.zip (same as carrier rom with ICS theme, had problem with gallery and screen would not turn on from sleep)

Didnt see much difference so restored the carrier rom back.

Hopefully this helps

Just flashed this version of cwm and i can confirm it working...and working fine. GREAT FIND

Just found this on xda written today.

I'm guessing CWM for Fusion 2 is in working order? no weird issues or hang-ups (ie: wifi not working)?

Whats up everyone on the fusion 2 forum, so head to the original post in this thread for an updated guide with.... yes as the title suggests CWM is fully functional on the fusion 2!! Head to the top of this thread for your sweet custom recovery goodness!!

Hit the thumbs up and like if this post helped you out!

Awesome. I'm going to do this now. I'll post results here and on xda forums once it's done.

Ok.... So:
I've tried this about four six times now. Step for step. No success. "instalador.bat" runs fine, says it was a success. No errors, no problems.

But - I boot back into recovery, but I get "Android System Recovery <3e>" and not the clockwork orange guy.

The same here.

Not sure about that, seems allgonoslow has succeeded. :)

He succeeded with the CWM recovery of Y201. Not this one.

I figured it was just the stock recovery since everything else seems to have worked. I'll just wait till the file is updated.

WOOPS MADE A HUGE OVERSIGHT AND GAVE THE CWM TOOLS FOR THE ORIGINAL RECOVERY! THE FILE HAS BEEN EDITED AND IS BACK TO THE Y201 CWM THAT WORKS ON OUR FUSION 2's!!! PLEASE TEST AND REPORT BACK! SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.

So it is the Y201 version?

If so - someone give an update when the other is out.

Huawei Fusion 2 CWM Installation Tools

Should this link allow me to download a file in it's entirety or do I have to download each and every file in it and put it back together once it's on my computer? When I click CWM TOOLS FUSION 2 it just opens showing other files on your dropbox, including a .shsh file that opens showing more files.

In the top right corner of the window that opens after clicking the link is a button you should be able to click to add the files to your drop box. If that's still a pain ill reload the files another way.

Unfortunately I do not have a dropbox.

And thank you for your hard work and attention to all this stuff that makes our lives better Shagerty.
