Root How to install SPRecovery

Hey everyone. I just joined the the moto droid world. I came from the Eris crowd. I had rooted my Eris and loved it and am looking to root the Droid 1 soon. My only question is is how do you install SPRecovery? When rooting the Eris you would install the Recovery Image right after rooting. I have searched around and am unclear on how this is done on the Moto. Could someone please point me in the right direction. Much appreciated.

hmmm.. have you already rooted? If you want to install Sprecovery, you could do it as an "alternate recovery" flash from within ROM Manager.

if you have not rooted, look at this or this and then once you are rooted and install ROM Manager you could do as you seek IF you feel the need - but likely, you will just flash clockworkmod.

And I would just flash Clockwork through Rom Manager correct? Sorry to sound like a noob but with the Eris you had to install the recovery partition through command prompts after root.
