Help How to keep contact photo from defaulting to Facebook

I hope this helps someone, it stumped me for months. When I set up my contacts I linked them to their Facebook, so whenever the phone syncs the contact photo will give you whatever is posted as their profile pic. I hated this because someone would always post a pic of their kids or a cartoon character, etc. So I would go to people, find the contact, then edit to change the photo, but it would always change back. Instead go to the Linked icon (upper right corner), then press the menu button. It will give you the option to select contact photo. Click it and it will show the photo options. If there was a pic previously assigned it will be displayed. Select it and click Done to save. Now the change will be permanent, no matter how many times their FB pic changes.

hi droidmv13! not sure if this answers your question. but if you go to 'people' and click your menu button, and click on view. this will show you all your different contacts in different groups, i.e., google, sim, facebook, other email contact addressbooks, phone, etc. just tick off which addressbook you want to see when you hit on the 'people' option and it'll filter your choice. hope that helps.
