Help How to link contacts with their FB profiles?

Hi
I just received my new Desire from my insurance company and...surprisingly I've forgotten how to link contacts with their facebook profiles. I don't see any option there to link them...But I think it's not that I've forgotten because I'm sure it wasn't at all a rocket science and there used to be very apparent options to link profile, so there may be something wrong or different with this model (or build). Any ideas?

If you go into the People app, then click on the contact name, top-right is a 'link' icon. Just click that and it should find the matching contacts, or allow you to manually search them out.

Doesn't work the latest update for Facebook unless they have updated. When you add an account it does nothing.

You need to sign into Facebook for HTC Sense before you can link them

My HTC Thunderbolt contact list has google contacts and Facebook contacts in it. Some of the google contacts and FB contacts automatically linked. Others I was able to link manually.

However, there are some google contacts and FB contacts with the same name that I cannot manage to link.

Any suggestions.

I too have this problem with just one person in my contacts.
I can see her profile on FB PC but can't access it though the phone and her name doesn't show up in my friends list on the phone so I can't add it manually.
Strange...
