how to lock screens?

i find my M8 "slippery" in my hand. ive accidentally deleted icons, or moved them or created folders by mistake on my home screens.

i have my perfect setup of icons now, is there a way to 'freeze' or lock the screens so that i cant do any of the above by mistake??

There are no built in options to lock the screen, however there are several launcher apps that replace the home screens and allow for locking the desktop icons. I know for sure that Nova Prime and Apex offer this.

If you are concerned about losing Blink Feed while using a 3rd party launcher you can do a few simple steps in Nova launcher to get it back.

-Delete all screens except blink feed on your built in launcher. (this prevents accidental swiping)
-On the new nova home screen long press and select shortcuts >activities >HTC Blink Feed >HTC Blink Feed (launcher) <will be in small letters underneath)

Now you have a direct link to Blink Feed on your screen.
