Help How to manually lock?

Hi,
I've disabled autolocking on my new Galaxy S2 using the 'NoLock' app.
However, I need the ability to manually lock the phone, so I can do this just before putting it in my pocket.

In other words, I want this phone to behave like my old phone, which never autolocked, but could easily be locked by a simple 2 keypress sequence.
BTW - I don't understand why having a phone that locks automatically after 15 seconds is a good thing unless you constantly put the phone back into your pocket/bag. If you just put the phone back on your desk then having to unlock their phone hundreds of times every day must surely be viewed as a needless waste of time.

One way to perform a manual lock could be to add a 'Lock' option to the menu you get when you hold down the power button. Is that possible?

Thanks

if you just press the power button once, it locks it.
the 15 seconds is the screen timing out which can be changed to 30 sec/1min whatever in settings.

Is the screen lock not part of the screen off time as well? Once the screen goes off it will lock a few seconds later. BTW if you use the no lock app and have the screen unlocked pressing the power key will only make the screen go off it won't actually lock it - pressing the home key will wake the screen again. I use the no lock app but also have a screen off app so that by pressing the no lock app button and the screen off app button I can turn off and lock the screen without having to fiddle for the power button

Thanks. I guess what I need is an app like 'NoLock' that doesn't remove the functionality of the power button (i.e. so when you press the power button it still locks the phone).
