Help how to mark all email as "read"?

I'd like to be able to mark all email as read without clicking through each one. In addition, I have done so from the email web interfaces (verizon netmail and gmail) but it does not sync to the EVO, even though I manually sync the device.

Any help here?

Is this Sprint not playing well with Verizon and Google?

Try a long-tap on the message, then select "Mark as Read". I don't think you can select multiple messages and mark all as read.

If you set up your Verizon and Gmail mail accounts via the POP protocol, the mail client only downloads new messages. It doesn't download or sync events like marking a message (on the web interface) as read. However, if you set the accounts up using IMAP, the marked messages should sync.
