Root How to mount phone & sdcard from adb shell?

I think the title says it all, but is there a way to mount the phone from the adb shell without having to Power Down the phone, then start it up (vol down + power), go into Clockworkmod, and mount the /system & /sdcard?

I was pretty sure there was a command, but of all the commands I've seen, they don't seem to work, so maybe I'm missing something. Can anyone help?
