Help How to mount USB on mac

I just got my EVO LTE last week and I just noticed that I can't mount the phone on my mac. I don't even see the option when I connect the phone to my macbook. Is this normal? Is there a way for me to view my phone's SD card on my mac?

Install this program: Android.com

Then make sure this setting is set: Settings > Storage > "3 dots" > USB Computer Connection > Make sure MTP is selected.

That is the setting on 4.0 or 4.1. If you have an older version, you'll might find the setting somewhere else; go digging for it!

Install that on your Mac, and when you plug in the phone a menu is presented, choose Media Sync then, and Android File Transfer will auto launch.

The selection is under Settings, Connect to PC otherwise.
