Help how to prevent websites showing mobile version

I got my xoom today

I notice that some sites like yahoo

Serve up theirmobile version

I don't want the mobile version how do I prevent that?

if you're using stock browser you can manually do it by typing about:debug in the address bar, opening settings and chaning the UA string to desktop.

you'll have to do it everytime you restart your xoom unless you use the ua string mod on xda

I feel that even when I do that, I still get mobile sites.

But it does work.
