how to RECOVER opened snapchats

i know about the several snapchat saving apps but can anyone tell me how can i recover ones that are already opened?
 
Can't, it deletes them.

There are apps that attempt to recover deleted media, but it wouldn't have access to where it stores the photos
 
I haven't used the app in forever, but I thought I read somewhere there was an update that allowed you to re-view previous snaps :confused:
