Help How to remove "25 emails" from lock screen?

[sarafip]

My lock screen sais I have 25 emails, my email accounts are set for me to sync manually, and not show notifications when I get new emails. I have cleared the caches on everything I can think of but I still can't get "25 emails" off my lock screen. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Mine does that if I have unread email messages - you have to "read" them for that message to disappear.

It doesn't seem to matter if I read my emails or not, I have no unread messages, but my lock screen has said 25 emails for about 2 weeks now. Thanks.
