How to remove apps.

A friend of mine gave me the file thing (apk) for some games, a few of them worked but a few didnt. So i was wondering could the ones that didnt work be installed on my phone and using up my internal memory and if so how do I remove since they dont come up on the phone. I installed using HTC Sync and the ones that didnt work arnt on the menu or installed apps.

So is there program to remove stuff installed on the phone but not sd card.

My Desire is 2.2 Froyo unrooted.

If they were installed, surely they'd show up under the apps screen? If they don't work and didn't install, i would guess they're just taking up storage space and you can delete the apk.

There are plenty of uninstallers on the market though.
