Root how to remove carrier installed apps?

i have a us cellular desire. they put some stupid things on there such as a myspace app that i want off. i rooted etc. but how do i remove it?

2 ways.

You can flash a Rom that doesn't have them

Or

Download titanium backup and delete them through there.

Be warned though, if you delete apps your system needs you will screw up your phone. I recommend buying the pro version of titanium backup and freezing the apps first to make sure they don't have any bad effects, then delete them after a few days.

Make sure you have a nandroid backup of your phone before you delete anything to just in case, so you can go back.

Titanium only really works if s-off.

If you want to stay stock without flashing, see my removing system apps guide available via my signature
