Help How To Remove Facebook for LG APP

ok well i recently got an LG Optimus from Cricket & It came with a FAcebook for LG app that i just dont like. Its not the same as the updated one you can download in the market,so my question is..how can i remove the Facebook for LG app that comes preinstalled on my phone?

its not a rooted phone or anything so i dunno if theres a way i can get rid of it without having to do all the other stuff?

i've only just upgraded to a smartphone. i, too, hate the stupid facebook app, and it's constantly wanting to update, which i won't allow, but it's just an annoyance. so the phone has to be rooted to get rid of it? my model # is in my sig line.

yea you need to root install -titanium back up- and remove the bloat ware.

search google for gingerbreak.apk download it and plug in usb and follow on screen instructions you have root
