Root how to remove 'root'

hi all. this is my first post and i really need help.
i have an acer iconia a500 tablet, and i recently found out that it was rooted by a previous owner. well im not that tech savvy and i basically want it origonal and standard. ive tried using the kingo android root app to remove the root but it comes up with an error and ive also tried the super su app but it doesn't install properly (binary doesn't install fully with app). ive also tried a factory reset but the tablet is still rooted. can anyone please help me and guide me on how to un root my tablet ??

First, you need to download stock firmware here - make sure to download the full package.

1. Use the link given above to download the Stock ROM ZIP file for your device, place it on your desktop.

2. Rename the ZIP file to update.zip.

3. Connect your tablet to the PC using the USB cable to transfer the file.

4. Transfer the update.zip file to the root folder of your device
 
when you say 'download the whole package' do you mean that i have to download every link under the version i want ? for example, if i want the ice cream sandwich OS do i have to download every link under the ice cream sandwich heading ?

Download the full file - make sure that the MD5 sum matches :)
