I know there are a similar threads for other Samsung devices, but didn't see one here.

If anybody is wanting to launch Google Now from the home button instead of S-Voice, it's very easy and can be done with the help of the free "Home2 Shortcut" app on Google Play.

Check it out here: Home2 Shortcut

If you would like instructions, check out this YouTube video (for the GS3 but it works on the S4 as well). Replace S Voice with Google Now

Launch S Voice. Hit the Menu button left of Home button. Select Settings. Uncheck launch S Voice from Home Button. Close S Voice. Long press Home button. Press Google above Home button. Done. You may also access Google Now by long pressing the Menu button.

Yup, that's certainly another way to access Google Now. The solution I mentioned was just if you wanted to launch Google Now by double-tapping the home button (which normally opens S-Voice by default). Thanks for mentioning the other options as well!
