How to reset Battery statistics?

pstein

Newbie
When I go to

Settings-->Battery

then there is a statistic which component used how much of the power in the past.

Over which period of time is the statistic calculated?

Beginning with the last power-on?
Beginning since the last battery charging?
Moving average over the last n days?

How can I reset the statistics to zero?

Peter

There's a "reset" circle at the upper right. Unplug the charger and press that and the statistics will reset. (Don't be surprised that "Screen" almost immediately goes to 70% ot 80% - it's on and using almost all the power that's being used in the second or two since you reset.)

Thank you, you but your solution does not work.

Whenever I tried it out in the last days the percentage values NEVER changed after tapping on the circle.

Any other solution available?

The stats are a representation of what has used the battery since the last time it was taken off charge, providing that charge is relatively close to 100%.

Charge your battery to 100%, take it off charge and the graph/stats should be completely different.

Yeah on my phone it resets when its been charged over 80% then charger removed. Not sure if thats a samsung or android thing :thumbup:
