Root HOW TO ROOT AND REMOVE BLOATWARE METRO 2.2.2 Update

Since Titanium Backup seems to not work with 2.2.2, can somebody teach me how to use Root Explorer 2.16 to remove garbage like Uno, Top Games, Pocket Express, etc?

Root explorer 2.16 worked perfect for me. all the metro bloat gone from my hauwei ascend 2.2.2.

If your asking how to assign an avatar click on "user cp" in the blue bar at top left of the screen.

Gingerbreak and z4root don't seem to be working any longer for MertoPCS Huawei Ascend. I returned mine to stock, then downloaded the 2.2 upgrade (I already found out z4root won't root the 2.2 upgrade). I have clockworkmod downloaded and my sd card formatted. I figured the next logical step would be to root the phone and back up with titanium, however, I can't seem to get Gingerbreak (any of the builds) to work. I have used this before, has something changed, and is there a work around?
