Root How to root evo

Any on the question above about the drivers? I just got my evo last month. I am going to try unrevoked when I get home from work.
 
I dont know, but you could remove them, then get the drivers for the Evo.. Itll only take a couple minutes and that way you know there wont be any problems with the drivers..

Edit: Damn you wrap!!!! Beat me by a minute lol

Depends on what HBOOT you have. If it is 2.02...then no, it is not rootable via unrevoked. To check what HBOOT you have...power the phone down...and then boot it up by holding volume down and the power button at the same time. A white screen will come up with different colored writing and 3 android dudes on skateboards at the bottom. The second line in that writing will have the HBOOT version for your phone....Mine says:

HBOOT-0.97.0000

If yours says 2.02, then it is not rootable via this unrevoked.
