Root how to root honeycomb 3.1?

Hi,

Justed updated my xoom to 3.1 today and of course got unrooted. When i try to root it again it got stuck on the boot screen after i flashed the boot.img.

Anyone tried it yet?
 
I currently have a WiFi Xoom, 3.0, unrooted. It hasn't had a system update since I unboxed it on launch day.

I would like to be in 3.1, rooted, without losing any functionality from a weird third-party kernel or somesuch. Ideally I don't want to lose any data but that part might not be possible anyway. What should I do, and in what order? Should I wait for XDA to roll out some sort of one-click?

Good luck, and be prepared for some reading if you're really interested in accomplishing your task, as it is buzzing over there and they are not getting around to answering all the questions. :) I've done so much reading in the last 24 hours my eyeballs are hurting.

Oh, and the link above pertains only to WIFI XOOMS, you'll have to do a little digging in the msg bases to find info for the 3G version.
