I strongly suggest using this app (read the description in full) to replace the Chinese crap kingroot installs with SuperSU (by a respected develooer) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=darkslide.com.supersume
It works well and you'll keep root, just a far more professional, trusted root.
Ps be very careful what you do on a rooted phone with no custom recovery installed to make a backup (dont mess with system files unless you know exactly what you're doing or you could so easily brick your device)
