How to root stock ICS 4.0.3

Hey guys I tried like three different ways and nothing seems to work. I am trying to root my stock 4.0.3 (the one from the Kies update). I do not want to flash a rom or kernel or anything like that, just root. Any info on this?

There's a rooted stock ICS ROM on XDA.
Why not just do that?
