Root How to root the LG Leon/LG Power

I made a boot loader unlocker for the LG Ultimate 2 because I thought it was locked. It might work on the Leon. But TracFones don't have locked bootloaders. We think they do but they don't. The Leon for sure has a locked bootloader. If you find anything @LitrosNub and @mrrom tell us.

Guys guys.... Don't rush to test any bootloader exploits. There is no way back if you mess up. MetroPCS has stopped posting kdz files to unbrick LG devices as of the F60. Just a fair warning

I would love to but im guessing it has to be rooted for me to get that info right? I havent rooted it yet and i dont know how to get that info...is it something that can be explained or googled easily? Id def go ahead and root it to get that info id love to have a custom recovery and there are lots more of us as well...thanks for the offer and let me get to googling


edit i just did some quick googling and idk it sounds like pulling that device tree might be over my head...unless maybe you have a simple way of explaining it or a good link to a how to?

also i asked a guy over on xda with the same phone to see if maybe he can get it for you and i posted a link to this thread

Bear in mind what i posted was from the tmobile varient. I have no idea if the boost or metro mount points are the same and if their bootloader is unlocked. I will glady test the recovery, just let me know.

I can mod it and then it could be used on the Boost Mobile one. I could add a few functions to it and it could be called "Crapy Recovery"
 
On a side note bump only works on kk boot loader and this device is running L. The boost mobile version does have a locked bootloader and was confirmed.

well ive got the metro variant (which sounds like it has an unlocked bootloader and is the same as the tmo version) and i will gladly root it and test out the recovery for you as well...i see you beat me over here fixxer

The devices are exactly the same all T-Mobile/MetroPCS devices will be identical except the bloat so yes expect the bootloader to be unlocked from both carriers.
