Root How to root with a Mac?

are there further instructions on flashing custom ROMs? Where do you find them? What one is the BEST for someone who is currently OK with their stock fascinate but wants 2.2?

Any favorite links for rooting with a mac? I'm starting to consider rooting although it scares the bricks outta me! I have a macbook OS X 10.6.6 and I want to study before I take the leap.

The best thing you could do is a Bootcamp partition of Windows XP. Only takes 10GB. It is a valuable safety net because you can use Odin and it often makes your life easier when hacking this phone.
