Root How to run Ubuntu on the Droid Incredible

i've attempted this, now after i installed the kernel, when turning it on, i see the htc loader, and hear it say droid, but the screen is black. i never get a screen after seeing the ht loader. is there any going back and fixing it? i can get to the recovery, but i didnt back up anything
 
OK i got my dinc working again by using a virtuous kernel. i want my stock kernel back now. where can i get it from?

Last I checked Virtuous in Rom manager has a option built in to install the stock kernel.

(I don't have the file sorry)
