I have a linksys e3200 which has N wireless. My note 2 picks up both the N and G networks and each has its own password to connect. The N is a much faster network and both seem to have the same signal strength. My problem is that the note 2 will always select the G signal. I can forget the G signal but the note 2 will not go to the N signal unless I manually connect it.
When i leave home and come back the note always selects the G network if it is available but will not select the N network even if it is the only one available.
When I go to another location and see a wifi signal I do not know if they are N or G networks.
Is there a way to select a default wifi network to connect to?
Or is there a way to change the settings of the E3200 to make it the default network?
