So....whilst awaiting some perma-root goodness, I found myself a nifty way to keep entertained and updated!

First, I created a new Facebook account on a separate e-mail. Then, went around and "Liked" all my favorite tech info sites. (Engadget / SlashGear / HTC / Etc.) Nothing else mind you...who gives a shit what color sally is painting her crafting room.

Once done with all that, I changed my lock-screen to the "Friends Stream" option. Now I've got a great Tech feed I can scroll through on my lockscreen!

Sat here for a good hour and half just catching up on things right in my lockscreen!

Yes, I know...not the most amazing feat ever. Sure does wonders when you're bored and wanna have some eye candy!

Try it out yourself!!!!

or you can just add your favorite feeds in the News widget lol

Yes I know...that's obvious, and already an option for us. My effort was to take advantage of something HTC put there, and make it my own. So much more enjoyable running tech / news updates across my lockscreen than a friendstream.

Having this feature on the lock screen is so much more advantageous. No need to unlock the phone, switch to the homescreen where you placed the widget to get updates on Engadget / Slashgear, etc. Just press your power button, and poof....there they are, floating by!
