How to set messaging photo?

Mine seem to have all set them self. Maybe it pulled then from FB

I think the proper place to do this is in Contacts. Call up a contact, select the menu key, choose Edit Contact, then click on the square box above the First and Last names.
You can either take a photo, or pull from the Gallery, which if you choose the latter, will allow you to also select a File Explorer if you downloaded one (I use ES File Explorer), and you can go off navigating the contents of your SD card for a graphic image.

Right, but how do you set your OWN photo? I can't figure that out.

Oh! I added myself to Google contacts and chose a picture from the Gallery
That worked. Thanks!

No prob! Yeah it was bugging me that my picture was showing up as a little Grey thing in go sms lol
