Help How to set up password for Gmail??

Hello. I just got a new Galaxy tab and am trying to set up a password for my Gmail account. This device is shared and I don't want my kids or visitors clicking on the Gmail icon and having access to my email. Is there any way to do this? Thanks in advance!

I downloaded some free Apps lock application from"Market",which are able to set password for email,gmail and Market etc.
