Root How to Setup Yahoo Email (Apex 1.4 & Liberty 1.5)

Make sure wifi is NOT on

Go to manual setup > IMAP account and change to these settings....

Imap server - imap.mail.yahoo.com

Click Next... Wait for it verify

SMTP Server- smtp.mobile.mail.yahoo.com

Not working, at least for me. I even changed the port to 110, stating my account username or password is incorrect. Any tips?

My yahoo email is coming through when I add it to My Accounts, but when I click the notification when I get an email it just goes back to home screen. FYI, I am rooted on ApeX 1.4

just download the app from yahoo mail...... I don't use yahoo 666 but that's the best way for yahoo users

I had the same problem. I changed my port to 110 and also had to change the security type to SSL (accept all certificates) and then everything worked perfect.

I had to change the IMAP address to imap.n.mail.yahoo.com to set up my account. Everything works now.
