How to stop apps from auto loading on new Nexus?

When I fire this baby up for the first time, what do I need to do so all my current apps on my Droid X don't auto load onto my Samsung Nexus? I want to obviously log into my Google account but I want to load wanted apps one at a time.

For me on my rooted Incredible, I can setup my phone with my Google account and it wont restore my apps until i open the market. It will start loading all apps at once, i am able to stop one at a time if i need to. Not sure how it will be on ICS.

i also want to know. i habe a lot of junk apps on my account and i cant seem to delete them off "my apps" in the market place. I dont want them loading on my new device when i login.

There should be a box or choice to check when you log onto google the first time to not auto restore. Then if they start to load when you open the market you should be able to hit the X and stop them all at once before they start. That's how the prior android version works.

Is there anyway to access what app's I have linked to my account and clear some out. I've downloaded a few to try and didn't like them but they always seem to download even though I uninstalled them. Kinda annoying when switching ROMS

When I did mine it just auto-loaded the ones which were still installed on my old Nexus One. Any I'd uninstalled were ignored.

There are still 'old' apps visible under My Apps, but just ones I've paid for and then subsequently uninstalled after the 15 mins trial, presumably because I can reinstall them again for free.

This is all stock ROMs on both devices, unrooted.

I'm kind of jealous of you guys who are just about to take delivery. You're gonna LOVE it!

Settings -> privacy -> uncheck the boxes for "backup my data" and "automatic restore".

if i only want to stop my apps from loading, what if i want to backup my data ? do these boxes only apply to apps or other things?

is there a way to access market apps and delete old apps and unwanted apps that are somewhere saved within Google somewhere?
