Help How to Stop Verizon Vcast Video when Charging

I've read threads about folks complaining that when they plug in their droid to the usb port a verizon vcast commercial pops up in the web browser.

I am having the same experience. I have an HTC Incredible. The threads that I've read say go to the system tray(?) on your pc (the lower right hand area of your screen) and click on a motorola icon and disable it. I don't have the icon. So I can't do that.

I've even disabled on my pc the (two) disk drives that my droid registers using windows xp device manager to no avail.

Any help, please?

Try the solution given by SparksGuy in that thread you linked to. It worked for me.

Thank you. I will try dialing and pressing the numbers. That was the one suggestion I did not want to follow because it seemed so random.

Yep, it works!

Dial ##7764726
Hit Call
Type Password 000000 (that's 6 zeros)
Hit Feature Settings
Choose CD ROM
Click Disable
Hit menu, commit modifications (it will say no item changed)
