how to store app data on external sd

I'm not ready to root. So is it at least poasiblw to store app data on sd card? If so, how?

It is done automatically according to app developer. No input on your end. Real Racing 3 is very unique...it automatically loads most of the game on SD card. My other apps all go on phone memory with very little data on SD.
