This may sound like a dumb question, but how do I switch from vibrate to silent using the button on the pulldown notification menu in 2.2?
When I was using 2.1, if I pushed the vibrate/silent button, it would switch between the vibrate and silent modes. Now when I press that same button, it switches between vibrate and regular, with no way to get to the silent option.
Is there something buried in the settings that is causing it to behave this way? I've been looking for awhile now and messing with different settings but I can't get that vibrate/silent button to behave like it did in 2.1.
EDIT: Nevermind, apparently I didn't search well enough. This is an issue with Froyo in general and not Samsung. Google did in fact change the behavior of the volume rocker switch and the buttons in the notification bar:
