Help How to switch incoming call ?

Hello
When I have a call and a second call is coming I get a menu wich allow to place the first call on hold
The I can speak with the second caller
But when I close that second call I find no way to speak again on the first call I can see that the call is waiting but I can't hear
The only way is to close the first call and call again !

I've probably missed something but this is certainly not evident

My old dumb Nokia was much clever and simple for that !

You should see the call on hold in your notification tray. Pull down the notification and tap on the call.

Yes it sound simple !
I will try again the next time
But I'm not sure it will works
Usualy I get a screen with a button looking like the "pause" button on a media player !

Of course I've tryed it ! but unsuccesfully, I can't hear my correspondant

But ok I will try again today ...

I am suspecting a bug in this feature !
I will check if it is possible to upgrade the software ?
 
I just did a test by calling myself from a land line to my cell phone and then had another person on a cell phone (different network -- Verizon) call me as well. When the second call came in I selected the option to put the first call on hold and then took the second call.

When the second call ended, I had this screen:

If I hit the home button, it put the call on hold in the notification tray and when I pulled the tray down I got this screen:

In both cases if I took the call off hold, I was able to hear the caller and they could hear me.

I'm not sure what is going on with your phone. I'd think you somehow have your phone set to mute, but you say that the caller can hear you, but you can't hear them, so they'd have to have been muted, which doesn't make any sense.

My SGS2 is completely stock running 2.3.6 on AT&T with ADW Launcher. I might suggest you touch base with your carrier to see if it's a problem with their network.
