Help How to sync "PC Sync" calendar w/ Google calendar

Had my HTCI for about 4 weeks. When I transitioned from my old Palm Treo, I moved all calendar entries & contacts over to the HTCI by using CompanionLink software. This worked great...problem is, my calendar isn't syncing automatically with Google (contacts sync fine). Well, I just figured out that all of my old Palm calendar data is on my HTCI phone within the "PC Sync" calendar (not my "Google" calendar). I made the "crazy" assumption that there was only ONE calendar by default (I digress).

Anyway, since I'm not physically syncing with a "PC" anymore, is there any way to sync all entries from my "PC Sync" calendar to my xxxx@gmail.com calendar? I'd like to use the automatic cloud-syncing w/ Google calendar, but really don't want to manually enter all of the events that got ported over from my old Palm Treo into "PC Sync" calendar.

Thanks.

I am actually in a similar situation. My wife and I both have the Inc. She has added a bunch of events in PC Sync and it won't come up in our google calendars. I would like to change those events to her google calendar category but it won't show up on the computer and I can't change which calendar an event is in on the phone???

How do I move the events from PC Sync to her Google calendar?

Found a solution on the Google forums that works (at least it does for my Evo)! The user who posted this fix, kill voice search, says he spent over 5 hours getting to the bottom of this highly annoying screw up.
ok, FIRST THING you should do is write down or otherwise somehow back up any and all of your "PC Sync" calender appointments. In my case, that would be all of the green appointments. You'll need to re-enter these later, but it's absolutely worth it because it fixes the problem.

After backing up the PC Sync items follow these steps:

1. click on <Settings <Appliacations <Manage Applications (or whatever similar buttons on your Android that gets you to your applications manager)

2. click <Running at the top (ie, you need to see all running applications.

3. clear data on both calendar and also calendar storage. yes, there are 2/two areas the calendar shows up in. did one or the other or both fix it? don't know. who cares. it will NOT erase your birthdays, appointments, holidays, day of year, week of year, sunrise or sunset. it merely forces the gmail calendar to reload on your android.

4. go into your calendar, then at the bottom of the menu, select calendar settings.

5. your settings such as what day of the week to start, etc. will be cleared. reset your preferences.

6. then, sync your calendar manually a few times.

7. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT YOU GO INTO CALENDARS, AND MAKE SURE ALL YOUR CALENDARS ARE CHECKED OFF TO WORK. I'm using only 1 gmail calendar. You should NOT see the "PC Sync" calendar anymore.

8. Synch your android calendar again. This should do it!

In essence what this does is eliminates your "PC Sync" calendar altogether. Any new appointments entered on your Android calendar will now be the same color as the gmail appointments (blue in my case). Before this fix, all of my "PC Sync" appointments were green, and therefore somehow unrecognizable to gmail.
thanks to google, who did nothing, did not reply, and has still not figured this out.

will it mess up again?? who knows, but it works for me for now.
