Root how to take 2.2.2(ZVE) back t ZV6?

Is this possible? If so how? When I run the LG Software Update program, it goes through the analysis oh and the stops. It says it can't continue due to a software error.
 
If you use the 2.1 to 2.2.1 root guide, you will go back to ZV6 at one point and you can just stay there.
 
Find the LGNPST guide. LGMU doesnt always work and many have had the problem with that error. The 2.2 root guide uses LGMU which is likely what youve already tried and will result in the same error.
 
Just saying "it doesnt work" doesnt give ANYBODY enough information to help you. I dont have your phone, i didnt see what happened. I cant tell you how to try to fix it. If you want help here information is key becuase nobody on here know anything you havent explicitly told us.
 
Make sure you have usb debugging on and did you do EVERY step EXACTLY as the guide says? Uninstall it all and start over step by step
 
Got it!

Reinstalled and noticed the vs740.dll wasn't installing correctly. I had to run the cmd.exe as administrator. I'm not a windows person, I run *nix.
