Accessories How to tell if I have a real HTC battery?

I bought a docking station off of ebay (15 bucks) too my surprise it included a 1600MAh battery it is marked HTC and looks like a real HTC battery any way I can tell if its real or do I go with obvious and just use it and see what kind of battery life I get.

Chances are it's a fake. You can call HTC and give them the serial number. They should be able to tell you if it's real.
