Root How to tether?? Help.

So I have to download that program in my computer? Damn I can't do it then because my computer doesn't have Internet.. So then I have to wait...

u posting through phone? if so ill just upload it for u to my dropbox u can download it to ur phone then from there use usb to transfer it to ur computer or if u have google chrome already on ur laptop i can just tell u how to make it run on android user agent.

if u have google chrome right click and press properties then in the target box after the exe press space once and paste this

--user-agent="Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.3.4; en-us; LG-MS910 Build/GINGERBREAD)

click apply and ok and u should be fine to tether again off google chrome

as far as the internet explorer heres the user agent picker

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/20852556/UAPickSetup.exe download to ur phone and then use usb to transfer to ur laptop and it install it
 
google chrome then cllick properties then in target box u just add that what i posted but either way it should work. cept in order to get the user agent switcher she need to be already connected to the net so by adding that to her target directory she will have a internet connection to download all those goodies ;)

right click on the google chrome icon? thats what im lost on. nvm i got it. boy sometimes i over think things haha

should look something like this on ur target box

C:\Users\Eli\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe --user-agent="Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.3.4; en-us; LG-MS910 Build/GINGERBREAD)

Cmon be nice there are many threads on how to tether but the prob here isnt tethering its bypassing metro's user agent black list. if u not gonna be of any help then dont bother at all.

duuuuuuuuuuuuuuude she's well umm perdy, let her do what she wants hahahaha

and yah this was a new one, her issue was bypass plus using Google chrome, most of the others are about IE or firefox.

also she was using Tapatalk on her phone, that makes it kind of hard to search though all the threads.
 
sweet guys up in here :) thanks!! im almost home so ill hit you guys up if it works. hopefully because i have to study for me freaking permit test -___- ugh.. lol but it was difficult searching around so i just gave up and asked lol

And all those threads tell you how to do that as well. And it is helping. Reminding people of the forum rules. your not helping at all with your remark, just trying to make my post into something that its not. Geez:(

Lets just leave it there everytime i respond to such remarks its either a infraction or thread closed. Optic shot anyways u should be set to tether i was just on a laptop tethering just fine. and oh bnb forgot to thank you for that link as well good looking out bud!!:D
