Root How to tether?? Help.

This is just too funny to read i use both fire fox and Google chrome with my lap top tethering and use the esteems use agent hell I'd be on it right now but I'm at work where im not able to use it at the moment

Thanks n4zty. i followed ur instructions and it worked flawlessly . now i can tether anywhere with my laptop as long as i have my esteem lol:D
 
I'm using chrome I did the steps and then try to tether I got nothing then I think it's slow and how do you get it to view as desktop and not mobile.. I set my WiFi tether to LG optimus s and softap(master) should i put it in a different setting instead?

could always tether fine with my mac without changing anything but could not get tethering working on my new windows 7 hp laptop. got it working great with this post thanks a bunch

well alot of pages have the option to view in desktop mode just gotta look around the webpage usually for gmail its on the bottom and on facebook u gotta click that icon on top left for menu thingy then scroll down till u see desktop mode ill post a pic in a sec.

This is for facebook when ur in mobile mode :D

Hey... you need to have a default agent on Firefox and sorry I can't do a write up but its very simple if you need help ill do my best to help but google. " android tether with Firefox user agent
 
Wish i knew how to code maybe someone could come up with an add on that would put you in desktop mode just like in our phones

So this user agent program Have to be installed to my laptop not my phone. Basically I can't afford Internet I head my phone's covering perfect and when they shut it down I never got it back . If you can get my phone to tether again I will make a donation. I have a LG Esteem
Obviously it's rooted, Im using the Black Plague rum from pG . I just want to know what I have to do to get my laptop back on the internet and use my Netflix. If there's any way you can teach me how to do this user agent change. I just really need to get this free tether working again.
