How to tether w/ User Agent Switcher (Firefox)

Ok, I thought I knew what I was doing but apparently not.. lol Any help on how to tether my LG Motion with Firefox's User Agent Switcher? I've already installed the switcher to my browser (do I have to activate it or something?), and I'm using the 4G hotspot app that came with the phone.. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help

I use the Ultimate User agent switcher sniffer with Chrome/Winny 7 64. On that, yes, there is both an Activate box in the user agent and a check as to what device to emulate (correct usage?) There is a box on mine for "tether".

It sometimes takes a couple minutes to get all locked on and ID n'all.

(This is on a Spirit. Once my Motion got the F update I think I never could get mine to tether.)
