Help How to transfer ebooks from PC

Hi, i'm completely new to Android and just got the SG Note, primarily for reference to medical books. I downloaded Cool Reader to read the files and wanted to copy / transfer CHM files from my PC to the Note. I tried copying my html and CHM ebooks to the "Applications" and to the "USBStorage" folders on the Note, but in both cases i get the error message "The device has either stopped responding or been disconnected". I would really appreciate it if someone could help. Thanks.

Did you connect the device to your PC using a USB cable? If yes, was the Wifi Kies application disabled? I've noticed that if the Wifi app on the phone is enabled while I am using the Kies software program on my PC, there are occasional conflicts.

You can use the 'My Folders' app on your phone to organize your files. I am quite unhappy with the Kies file uploader. We would like our ebooks to be categorized but all file uploads by default land up in random locations on the phone.
