Hi guys, hope u can help me on that since it is my frist time using andriod devices.

I try to transfer my videos or music files from my mac to xperia s. So i plugged in with usb cable to mac, it asked me to install a program which does not support mac (windows only). So i got pissed and tried youtube to look for solutions. I tried to download andriod file transfer program for mac, but when i open the program it can not find my mobile device. I also tried to use the app filexpert like they mentioned on youtube. But nothing works. I know i am spoiled by using apple for years and with mac everything works automaticly. I thought it was time for a change to use android device for a change, but it has been 2 days and i still cant connect my mac to my xperia s to transfer pics, music and videos. I am really getting pissed and hopefully someone can help me on this, you will be really thankful...

cheers

It uses the MTP protocol and you can drag and drop using the Bridge software. See more in this thread: http://androidforums.com/sony-xperia-s/502882-xperia-s-review-2.html#post4057662

It's not quite as good, and I've found the software doesn't like working with iPhoto that has many hundreds of events (and thousands of pictures) but it is probably more management and simple for anyone used to using iTunes to sync to their iOS device.

If you have a reasonably large iPhoto or iTunes library then the software will probably crash.

Depressing as it sounds, Sony has never been good at providing software for Mac users and this is still the case with the Xperia S. I've had mine for a week and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for an update soon.

I too managed to get it to see the events and albums on the second or third go.

The software isn't great, but it works.
