Hi,

I have not tried it before.
I think you can use DoubleTwist to transfer your music files.

cheers :)

You need to place the music files onto the divice not the sdcard. At least on my setup i cant see my card. Also I dont have an Ipod so Im not sure about that end.

it depends on what type of files your trying to transfer to iPod from you PC such as mp3 just plug in your iDevice and open iTunes and then find your music folder on your PC find your device in itunes and hi-light the songs you want on your idevice just drag and drop the music into where you see you idevice name

How 2 tranfer music frm usb 2 iconia?? Thanks
Just make sure your USB is formated to FAT and copy music files to Usb and copy off of the usb into your music folder.

You really need a file manager first though es File explore is a good free one.
Then after you install that you need to familiarize your self to the file structure.
The SD card will be called External SD Card Card the internal memory will be called SD Card. You will find both of these under the file called mnt.

Here's an easy way to copy your music to a SD card:
1) Connect the SD card to your PC via a SD card reader or place it in the Acer Iconia A500 and connect the Iconia A500 to your PC using USB.

2) Copy your iTunes\iTunes Media directory to the SD card

3) Rename 'iTunes Media' to something simpler, such as Music

4) Access the SD card and the music directory from a music program on your Iconia and you're done

You could also just copy the files from your iTunes media directory straight into a directory on your Iconia A500 itself and have a music player play them straight from wherever you choose to put them.

Yes it is possible, please read this guide first: How to Transfer Music from Android to iPod

You need an iTunes library in between. Fire up iTunes, import the songs from your droid into your itunes library, then sync. If you can find the media on your phone, you can probably move the whole folder over in one fell swoop.

I am not sure how drm is handled on your music. At worst, you would need to burn the songs, then re-import into iTunes.

The key is an itunes library in between- that is how music gets on the ipod. does not need to be apple purchased, just passed through their library system.

If you want an alternate method, and you have the files available, you can transfer them to the ipod using other methods, such as file browser or drop box. I believe both of them come with a player. The downside would be that the music would be outside of your regular music library, and searchable etc.
Work for me. Thank you.
