Help How to transfer pictures from desire to computer

What am I missing? I would like to transfer pictures from my desire to laptop with usb. I can see the desire on my laptop but cannot see my pictures. I can see the pictures that came with the desire on the laptop.

Photo's you've taken? Look for a folder called DCIM

Thanks that was easy. I went from a 7 yr old cell clunker to the desire so am on a steep learning curve but having fun.

Connect your Desire via USB
On the Desire, select to connect it as a "Disk drive" instead of "Charge only"
Wait for around 5-10 seconds for Windows to detect the newly connected drive
Open Windows Explorer and you should have a new drive letter
Open this and it shows the contents of your SD card
Look for a folder called DCIM - this is where your pics are stored
