How to Turn Off Data

Hey guys i was bored so i wanted to share this tut on how to turn off data completly off including 4g/3g u can still recieve calls and txt but not mms or any net. just incase ur somewhere far and dont have any way of charging your phone this should help make your battery last longer. and yes i know about apps and what not but this a method only using anycut to make a shortcut on your home screen.On anycut select activity then look for data and make a shortcut once thats done open it and u should see this.

If u remove check then u turn off data and get this

dont know what ims data is nor admin data ya can go ahead and play with that if ya want post back results. please avoid any lame comments about how u knew about this long ago or how u dont think its of any use.
 
Just wondering; Is there a difference between doing the method you just said, and going to Settings-Wireless & networks-Mobile Networks and unchecking "Data Enabled"? Because it does the same thing.

samething just shortcut lol
 
I use DataSwitch by TomatoX. It works instant and it had a few uses other than just toggling data. It also is useful for regaining 4G, saves battery etc.
