You essentially have to close or kill the app manually. But just letting you know there are no battery savings by killing this app.
But if you have to do it, you have to go to the music app (by hitting the musical note on the notification bar). In the music player app, hit menu, scroll down, and go to end.
Or you can go to task manager by holding home button, then hitting the icon on the bottom left. Then hitting End on the Music Player app that is running. Yeah, kinda annoying
This is the reason I love PowerAMP, as compared to any music player (no matter how nice the OEM music player is). I used the OEM music player (until I had time to fully configure my devices) and it was painful compared to my experiences with PowerAMP.
