There should be an option to disable it under your keyboard's settings. Every keyboard is different, so I can't tell you exactly where unless you can specify what keyboard you are using...
Your keyboard settings will be under settings>language and input>[whichever keyboard you are using]
The stock keyboard for example on mine has two different settings:
1.) Auto Correction - which can be set to off
2.) Show Correction Suggestions - which can be set to always hide
Like mentioned above, the settings will vary from keyboard to keyboard and possibly a little between different devices, but in general, that should point you in the right direction.
